John Blyth for President of the United States 2008

I Support our Independent Truckers

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 2:15:58 PM | Back to Blygs

The recent independent truckers strike nationwide here on 4-1-08 was the right thing to do. I support them and I agree with them. George Bush says he is concerned about the economy but,we are not in a recession. That means George Bush is not in a recession. The rest of the country is in the recession. We can not eat gas. I will immediately abolish the failed Ethanol bill that has enabled the price of corn to sky rocket to over $6 dollars a bushel. And at the same time decrease the amount of plant able U.S. land for all of our other agricultural products we should be producing. The price increase in corn has rubixed our other food costs for grain to our cattle and so many other unfavorable aspects of this our derivative driven agricultural society.

Our world staple food crisis.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 2:36:31 PM | Back to Blygs

I will lower our food prices by the immediate abolishment of the failed Ethanol bill. The need for greed has ingrained itself here as the #1 enemy of our economy. Lower the cost of food and increase our purchasing power. Soy, rice, wheat, corn, maize, all of the worlds food costs are up. Riots in India, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba and soon here over the price of food staples. I am the decisive leader to take us forward in victory over this national and world recession. I will not subsidize the corn industry.

The Government Cheese

A word about healthcare

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:16:13 AM | Back to Blygs

Thank you to all the doctors working tirelessly in our beleagered healthcare industry. Everyday giving service in an unforgiving system harder and harder to make an income. And indeed Thank you to all in the healthcare industry for thier faithful unsung service to the public.

U.S Air Traffic.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:30:06 AM | Back to Blygs

I will completely revamp U.S. air travel. Starting with the correct runway configuration at O'Hare Airport and many other U.S. Airports. My new federal time requirements for ontime performance, set waiting period time limits, and our new U.S. identification / drivers license. Mandatory monetary fines will be installed against the air lines and against municipalities for failure of compliance. None of this will effect air safety and in fact will improve air saftey. Theese and many more features will be greatly enhanced including the total revamp in favor of air traffic controllers.

No to Big Tax breaks for business owners in housing.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:36:08 AM | Back to Blygs

Here we go again. Federal gov bail out for another industry that should be allowed to take thier lumps like the rest of US. Everytime the fed bails out an industry; Airlines, Banks, Milk, Corn, Builders and Constuction owners we pay and repay to the rubix, thats x4, for business failures and fraud not a part of taxpayer obligation nor responsability. Theese bail outs keep prices artificially high on all goods in m1,m2, and m3. As such, these bail outs of industry are a lie to every economic factor. All of these industries should be allowed to fail and pay for thier own losses as sure as every individual taxpayer and household is mandated to do. The collapse of industries and sectors is a natural part of capitalism and must be allowed to happen. Bail out of an industry or sector is nothing more than favroritism for special interests that do not include you and me.

The real answer to Carbon Tax.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:45:43 AM | Back to Blygs

I will create and build our first federal government gas refinery wholly owned by the public and at the same time carbon tax the current refiners until we get pricing back to $60 dollars a barrel of oil with a price per barrel fluctuation of about 6%.

Add to that my roll back of food costs (see prior Blyg's) and everybody win wins. Everybody.

On a happier note

Here at BlythAmerica.com we celebrate earth day in so many ways. Thank you Mother Earth for your fertility and for your bountiful gifts worldwide and the universe.

My new Green America plan includes but is not limited to the fallowing:

Re-Foresting by region using indigenous trees and plants. Perhaps the new super trees.

Re- Stocking of our water ways with the indigenous species.

Higher taxes on corporate polluters of our water. Are those products vital?

Water enforcement using more testing and disclosure.

And finally my new seedling program for grammar school children. Planting seeds.

May your garden be the best ever.

I will cap credit card interest rates.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 9:56:11 AM | Back to Blygs

I will put a federal cap om the amount of interest a credit card Co can charge. and I will fix duration of charges. And I will eliminate  the inter-Company industry SPIKE that if one card goes to a default, it triggers all other cards to auto-default maximum rates and remaing. This protection is needed as predatory lenders have gone unchecked for far too long in their need for greed. The pro effects of this are for all.

In Argentina

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:48:03 AM | Back to Blygs

Congratulations to President Critina Fernandez for her correct stance against the powerful and rich ranchers and farmers who have been trying to raise their wholesale food prices against we the masses. It took alot of guts to do the right thing in agriculture and serve the people well. That has not happened in this country. And in fact quite the opposite has been happening here as U.S. agri- CULTURE has been aloowed and At-a-Boy -ed by the need for greed. Please note, the need for greed should in no way be confused with capitalism. Making money at a fair price is one thing. Price control, manipulation, price guoging and record profits are quite another. The world listens and honors President Fernandez only wishing the same could or would transpire here and around the world.

U.S. Youth Violence. Where is the love?

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 8:28:09 AM | Back to Blygs

We must love our lost youth. There is no other way. The lack of love can be traced to so many social ills. Who will love them if we don't or won't. These youth are my relatives and yours. The teachers have done thier jobs, as have the police who are trying not to lock them up in the hope that they will grow up to see the light. Who among us has not made our mistakes of youth. The reverends and ministers have also done an unending successful response to our youths needs. Unsung heroes all. We all look for the successful pograms for youths that work in the new study by the U of Chicago due out in about 18 months form now. Many of us remember the huge failed youth program DARE to keep kid safe. We want programs of success for our youth. I will advance more federal dollars for successful youth programs. This is very important and a must for social economic justice if we are to excel as a nation in every aspect. Show the love.

Food prices, I will help you.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 10:02:02 AM | Back to Blygs

I will immediately pass my new federal NO Food Tax. No taxes on food. No sales tax. No tax on wholesale food and no tax on retail food. This will remain in effect until such time as the economy is in the clear.

Happy Secretaries Day

My new Federal 2012 Electronic Voting law will be in force. This does not mean the ballot and other forms of voting currently in use wil stop. All current forms of voting will continue along with e-voting. The goal here is to increase voter turn out now and forever. Vote from home = no rain, sleet or snow, no weather and no transportation issue. We have the technology and the sooner the better. Happy voting and a better count. We aregoing to be chadless. Peace.

1.7 Million Parents have lost thier jobs.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 9:11:16 AM | Back to Blygs

Try telling that to your spouse and kids.

I will create new jobs with my new National High Speed passenger RailRoad.

I will create jobs with my new Gov Gas Refinery. Wholly owned by the public, but by no means is this a nationalization of big oil. Just true competition.

I will create new jobs with my new national Re-Forestation project Green America.

I will create jobs with my complete overhaul of our national electric grid. And many other greatly needed public works programs.

Total Recall. You be the terminator.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:55:22 AM | Back to Blygs

Some states have passed recall legislation. Recall legislation is a law that gives voters the right to remove a current governor by having that option on the voters ballot. This law should be extended to include any elcted official including Congress and The President. An 81% disaproval rating with recall would do away with a costly and time consuming impeachment and restore the will of the people. More states have recall legislation pending. I recomend you vote for passsage of this law in your state. Recall means out now. We will no longer have to wait years to remove the wrong.

In Paraguay

Congratulations to new President Fernando Lugo!!!

The world is with him.

May he remember the masses.

You do the math.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 9:20:28 AM | Back to Blygs

The Cost of the Iraq war in dollars. 1 Trillion dollars divided by 300 million U.S. people = ?

Now see the 300 bucks you will get from the failed economic injection policy recently passed by the President. Keep in mind only those that file a tax return will receive the insult we cannot afford to give as it increases the record debt of the nation and further weakens the U.S. dollar.

Which of the above would you prefer as an economic stimulus plan?

Chernobyl then and now.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:31:51 AM | Back to Blygs

By any estimation the Chrnobyl Nuclear meltdown 22 years ago in Russia was a diaster. To be sure Chernobyl is worse than ever thought then and now. One of the biggest lessons there not talked about is the fact that those who are not capable for whatever reason ( and there are many reasons ) of running Nuclear power simply should not run Nuclear power. Simply said they are ruining the world. Soverign nations do not have a right to detroy other countries by thier own failures and then simply say oops, sorry. This global world does not apply only to business. Just like home we are not afforded the luxury of allowing a bad nieghbor to continue bad practices with extreme repercussions to our community. I will create  and enforce my new World Nuclear Capabilities Treaty. This treaty will let all of the worlds leaders restrict and regulate failed Nuclear power operators. Peace through understanding.
